Cautious Sam's Driving School: Simple Online Education

Online education is becoming more and more prevalent each day. In fact, the university from which I graduated, Full Sail University, has many of their degrees available online. Online education provides opportunities to those who would otherwise find it hard to attend a university: remote or foreign students, those who have to work, and students with children.

The goal of Cautious Sam's Driving School was to provide an intuitive, simple, and effective website for students to learn how to operate a vehicle. Instructional materials include text, videos, and quizzes. Providing theses resources in an online format allows for a unique learning experience. Students utilizing the website will be able to track their progress, request help from an instructor, and view courses in either English or Spanish.

The Solution

The solution that I designed for Cautious Sam's was a clean and effective user interface. With educational web design, it is important to remove all distractions so that a student can focus on learning the material. Sporting an appropriate theme, akin to a highway, the design invokes the spirit of the open road.
